In 1984 he was appointed to St. Joseph’s College, Mill Hill, London, for Vocation Ministry for 2 years; then as student counsellor for a couple of years; then as Rector of the seminary for 6 years. He had a sabbatical in Rome, doing some study at the Angelicum University. He then got his next appointment – to be part of the Mill Hill Community in New York.
He served in the Archdiocese of New York as Co-ordinator for Special and Pastoral Ministry. After 18 years there, he was appointed home to NZ.
He served in the parish of St. Mark in Pakuranga for 3 years. Then, in January 2018, he was appointed to the Mid North Pastoral Area, based in Okaihau – serving 8 church communities.
